Author, Stephanie G. Whitson gave a presentation at the Historic Bryant House on her latest book “A Picture Perfect Christmas “. Ms. Whitson got her idea for this book after touring the Bryant House. She happen to browse through a vintage photo album and noticed some of the photos had a stamp on the back of a photo railroad car. Seeing this piqued her curiosity so she did some research to discover photographers would set up a ‘studio’ on a railroad car to take photos of any interested person at every stop the train would make. What a nice service for that time.

After her presentation, refreshments were available of delicious decorated cookies, water, lemonade and coffee. While enjoying the refreshments, our guests enjoyed an informative conversation with Ms. Whitson.
